Almost there....

Well the final bits and bobs are coming together nicely on the westy. It wont be too long now till MOT time.

Last week Simon has been putting together the interior, refitting some of the original Westy cupboards and making a great start on getting the interior trim in order.

Martin has been busy fettling with the old girls electrics and finally all her switches and knobs are wired and working!!

The exterior bright work is coming along and the freshly powder coated wheels are now back and fitted.

A few more days and she should be ready for a trip to the MOT station. We are just waiting for the new spindles to come back from the specialist restorer and she will be good to go!!

Long overdue update.

Right then first off a little apology for not updating the blog sooner. We have been literally snowed under with customers cars to have any time take some pictures and update you all the the comings and goings down here on the Brookside funny farm.

Good news is that the Westy is back from paint and looking fabulous, Patrick's paint job looks fantastic in the late autumn sun, painted to the new owners choice of cream white over sky blue. Unfortunately for us today there was a distinct lack of sun and so the pictures were taken of the old girl tucked up in the dry.

Next stop is to get the wiring finished, and get the interior trimmed and sorted. Si has made a good start with the sky blue door cards and headliner re-trim.

It wont be too long now till she takes to the uk roads for the first time.....
